Safety
Operational Safety Metal plastic windows and doors of Cairo in Egypt. Production of safe quality PVC windows in Egypt.
Q: Does PVC realese harmful substances under the sun?
A: PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is a product of chemical synthesis, main components of which are salt (sodium chloride), oil and gas. Qualitative PVC is inert to most chemicals. In particular, it is used in production of containers for storing blood and plasma. Plastic windows have been applied worldwide at sites with the highest environmental requirements, such as hospitals, nursery schools, special-purpose facilities.
As PVC stabilizers usually used lead compounds that protect PVC from decomposition at elevated temperatures, and significantly increase the life of finished windows. It is crucial that lead in PVC is bound in biologically inactive state, and can not be released into environment at any circumstances. Leadcontaining PVC stabilizers are non-volatile substances with low diffusion coefficients. When operating the window, they are not able to stand out from the rigid PVC polymer matrix product.
Q: I heard that PVC windows are especially dangerous in case of fire.
A: Plastic is inflammable material and does not support combustion. Tests carried out with plastic windows in extreme conditions showed that they were kept for half an hour temperature + 150 º C without cracking, blistering and peeling , and at +80 º C - 3:00 integers . Ignition temperature from an external source in PVC -330- 400 º C, at the tree - 210-270 º C, ignition temperature at 450 º C PVC, wood at 260 º C.
