What windows to choose for your home? The number of sashes.

How to understand what number of sashes will be optimal in each case? Depending on the number of sashes, all window structures can be divided into three types:

- Single sash windows are well suited for small window openings, including non-standard shapes. If the window opening is low or narrow, then a window with one opening sash will perfectly solve the problem of glazing.

- Double-sash windows are recommended to be installed in window openings of sufficient width, which is usually at least 80 centimeters.

- Windows with three sashes are suitable for large window openings. Such large and high windows are most often located in living rooms.
