Types of PVC windows, depending on the method of opening.

Plastic windows are very convenient to use as they can be opened in any way. Due to high-tech mechanisms you can effortlessly open sashes widely or fix them in an intermediate position.

To control the closing and opening of the window you can by turning only one handle. This handle has several different positions (their number depends on the specific mechanism)

Depending on the type of opening windows can be classified in three main types: hinged, sliding, fixed

Currently the most common is the hinged type, which in turn is divided into three types: tilt, turn and combined. In turn window  hinges are located on one side and it opens rotating around the vertical axis. This principle is often used in old wooden windows. Tilted PVC windows are opened by turning on the horizontal axis, this method has several advantages.

Tilt and turn mechanism combines the capabilities of turning and tilting as we can see  from its name. Whether the sash is turned or tilted depends on the position you set the handle .

In the windows of sliding type sash are moved relative to each other. Fixed windows are fixed  in a window unit and do not open.

The mechanisms by which are realized all the types of opening the windows which were discussed above, are commonly called fittings. They have a reasonably complicated device and can be adjusted.
