PVC (polyvinyl chloride)was created in the 19th century, in fact it is a high-strength plastic. The discovery was made in America. However, this wonderful material was ahead of its time, people could not appreciate the opportunities and for a short time it was forgotten.  
Only in the 20th century appeared the first plastic products, and the middle of the last century marked the beginning of the production of Windows and doors made of PVC.
To the new material for the manufacture of Windows became so popular over it had to work both physicists and chemists, because initially it was not so durable and reliable. The first plastic window was made by German designer Heinz pache in 1952. Therefore, despite the fact that PVC was invented in America, Germany became the first manufacturer of products made of it.
