PVC windows can fit even the most lavish interior — you just need to decorate them thoughtfully in the Baroque style. This style appreciates luxury, an abundance of details, and solemn symmetry: it evokes the palace halls of the 17th–18th centuries and adds nobility to any room.
The key technique is to use muntins (Georgian bars) with curved or ornate patterns. They create the effect of antique glazing and set the right scale for the composition. Stained‑glass inserts with rich colours and intricate ornaments also look great — for instance, those made using the traditional English stained‑glass technique.
Baroque‑style hardware should emphasise luxury: massive handles imitating bronze, gilding, or patinated copper will serve as a striking accent. Decorative corner trims for the frame in the same style will complete the image — they will enhance the impression of a cohesive architectural composition.
It’s best to choose a soft colour for the profile: cream, ivory, or with an aged‑gold effect. Lamination to mimic natural wood with a rich texture or with a metallic sheen is also an option.
Curtains and drapes are an essential part of the look. Heavy fabrics (velvet, brocade, satin) with lambrequins, tassels, and draperies will complete the picture. They will not only emphasise the style but also help regulate lighting, preserving the atmosphere of intimate luxury.
The main thing in Baroque decor is a sense of proportion: even with PVC windows, you can achieve palace‑like splendour if you harmoniously combine the elements and ensure they align with the overall interior. As a result, the window will become not just an opening for light, but a true work of art.
