The most common means of window protection in recent years have become roller shutters, vertical and horizontal jalousie and roller blinds.

Roller shutters are the best option for an external system to protect the room from sunlight. It is often preferred by owners of private homes, offices and apartments on the lower floors, since in addition to performing its main function, roller shutters are also able to resist external penetration.

The system includes a protective box, a sheet with a profile and guides. Roller shutter slats are most often made of aluminum or steel and covered with a special paint. The denser the slats are adjacent to each other, the more airtight the sheet will be and the better thermal insulation properties the structure will have. 

Roller shutters are easy and convenient to operate. They can be rolled either manually or by means of an electric drive, it is clear that in the latter case the cost of structure will be higher.
If the shutters' appearence seems too simple, there is a possbility to color them  or to dram ornament.
