When we choose PVC windows for our home, we often think not only about how they will look in the interior but also at the home facade. The appearance of windows mostly depends on the profile which they are made of. Modern industry offers a diverse color palette for any taste. Techniques of colors application also vary.
The technique "Coloring in the mass" is used for white and brown profile get the necessary shade. In this way color is added directly in a polymer composition of profile. The disadvantage of this method is the exposure of the paint to the effects of the environment. It makes profile to loose attractive appearance quite quickly. Therefore, a frame of such a profile is recommended to cover with a layer of acrylic film.
When coloring with the method of coextrusion a very thin acrylic layer is applied on the surface of the profile, which under the action of a chemical process becomes a whole with a plastic. For this technology highly skilled professionals and expensive equipment is needed. Therefore, the profile painted this way will not be cheap. At the same time it is not affected by any weather, it is resistant to deformation and durable.
The color profile can be produced by the method of varnishing. This method is suitable only for the creation of exclusive frames and involves manual labor and is therefore expensive process. Acrylic lacquer is applied on the surface of the frame and then processed at high temperatures.
Lamination is the most common way of decorating the window frames. Glue is applied on the surface of the heated profile and the the film which is securely fixed with the rollers of special equipment.
