A mosquito net is a simple yet essential accessory for PVC windows: it keeps out insects, dust, and poplar fluff while still letting fresh air in. There are many options to suit different needs.

Frame nets are the most common type. They consist of a rigid frame with stretched mesh installed in the opening from the outside. People like them for easy installation and maintenance: you can take the net down, rinse it under a shower, and put it back.

Roller (roll‑up) nets retract into a box above the window like a mini‑blind. They’re handy when you need to quickly clear the opening: just pull the cord and the net rolls up. This is a great option for balconies and terraces where flexible use of space matters.

Sliding nets move along guides, similar to wardrobe doors. They work well for wide openings and balcony units: the panel glides smoothly and doesn’t take up extra space.

Hinged nets are mounted on hinges and open like a small door. They’re most often used on loggia and veranda doors: it’s convenient to step onto the balcony without removing the net.

Magnetic curtain nets made of fine‑mesh fabric offer a lightweight solution for openings where a rigid structure isn’t needed. Two panels are joined by magnets: they snap shut automatically after you pass through and keep insects out.

There are also special versions: “anti‑dust” nets with smaller mesh catch pollen and fine dust, while “anti‑cat” nets are reinforced to withstand a pet’s weight and protect curious cats from falling.

The right choice depends on the window type, opening width, and personal habits: some people prioritize compactness, others want maximum protection. The key is ensuring the net fits snugly against the frame; otherwise, even the tiniest insects can slip through the gaps.
