How long PVC windows will stay functional?

When you purchase such impressive and expensive designs as windows, question about how long they will last is one of the most important. When we admire the newly installed, snow-white window protecting the room from dust and noise, we would like to know how long we will be able to enjoy these facilities.

If you choose a known and trusted manufacturer, you can expect that the design will serve you faithfully for 40-50 years. In Egypt PVC Windows started to be installed not so long ago but in Germany windows installed decades ago look and work great.

Of course, even the best product can be disabled prematurely if you handle it improperly. To extend the life of your new windows, you need to care for them, wash a couple of times a year and to grease fittings and seals. And if you have any problem it is better to call a specialist without waiting for a major breakdown. In this case, your windows will last a long time. 

With regard to the effects of aggressive external conditions, PVC is much more resistant to them compared to a tree. For example, temperature of PVC burning is twice higher than for wood. And in contact with water, PVC Windows do not rot or crack unlike wooden ones. 

Thus, if you have purchased a quality window from a reputable source and will care for them, nothing will prevent them to last you several decades without losing neither the initial appearance nor their wonderful qualities.
