Are panoramic windows for villa a worthy investment?

Panoramic windows is a very modern fashion trend all over the world. However, such a fashion is not always suitable for any particular building. Costs on large size glazing are high, it is due to the large weight of the structure, which would require additional reinforcement of the profile.

In terms of Egypt is not worth to plan such glazing for the windows facing the South or South-West, which are almost all day-lit hot rays of the sun. Large glass area will lead to strong overheating of the room and increasi air conditioning costs. Panoramic windows in the North or North-East side of the building will not cause an overheating as they have sun rays only in the morning. In addition, in winter they will allow the morning sun to warm the room up and it will be not so cold during the day. Of course, think about the installation of such windows only in the case when the view from the window is really enjoyable. Such window can face the sea or the garden, but not a busy street or a neighboring house, as in this case it will be very difficult to ensure the privacy of your home.
