How to protect PVC Windows during repair?

Before attempting to repair you need to take care of some important points.

If your goal is simply to change finishing of the house, windows will need only protection from dust, dirt and paint. With this task perfectly cope the most common plastic film or a special stretch film, stretched around the perimeter of the window and attached to the frame. After repair it can be easily removed. 

If you plan to conduct any installation work in the vicinity of windows, the first thing you will need is to take care of the glazing. There is not the cheapest, but absolutely reliable method - liquid protective film, commonly called liquid armor. The material should be applied to all the places that need protection, using the roller and after a few hours it will create a flexible layer similar to rubber. When you finish repair, removal of this layer will not be any problem. Thus it is possible to protect any surface but glass is especially important. 

Throughout the repair you should not forget about another very important point: in the process of finishing the walls, window assembly joints must not be touched to avoid deterioration of the insulation characteristics of the whole design.
