Wood or PVC:proper selection.

PVC windows have become a market leader very quickly, in most European countries and in the Americas they occupy the largest market share. This is not surprising, because they have unique properties that distinguish them from other structures. But to be sure that we made the right choice by abandoning wooden windows, we analyze each parameter separately. 
- Durability. On the service life of wooden Windows is much inferior to PVC, because the service life of structures made of PVC, when used properly, can be up to 50 years!
- Maintenance. In this case, the PVC also has an advantage. The fact that the wooden windows should be regularly colored due to the fact that the paint peels off, taking care of them is harder than plastic ones.
- Aesthetic qualities. This question has no definite answer, since tastes differ. Some people like the aesthetics of plastic windows, and others prefer traditional wooden frames. However, PVC windows have something to offer. After all, using lamination we can make the pVC look like wood.
- Noise insulation in PVC windows perfectly protects against street noise due to improved glazing formula and profile. Wooden windows are not so tight, respectively, is not enough to protect against the increasing noise pollution in cities.
- Ecological compatibility. It is worth noting that to create a wooden window it is required to cut down the tree, so PVC windows will save more forests on the planet. Also, they do not include dangerous substances for the health, and the fact that they are eco-friendly know is well known.
Summing up, we can say that most of the parameters of PVC Windows are much superior to wood.
