How to lubricate PVC windows?

Even if your windows are equipped with the best quality furniture, care is still needed. The period of service life and reliability of window operation depends on it. All the components of PVC windows require only the simplest care not more than twice a year. Only glazing needs to be washed as soon as it becomes dirty with use of detergent and a damp sponge, and accessories should be lubricated annually. Lubricate all mechanisms necessary to ensure that your windows will not creak and they work a few decades later as if they had just been installed. Annual lubrication will prevent wear and tear of metal elements. If you don't grease your window, then sashes and window handles will start to turn with difficulty over time. In the future, you may need to replace the metal parts. To avoid this, devote 15 minutes to lubricate the fittings once  a year and it won't let you down.

 The choice of lubricant is a responsible moment. It have to be remembered that such substances as vaseline, oil, margarine and different gels are not suitable,and they are not recommended. It is better to purchase factory grease or buy it in the store of building materials. 

 So, what exactly should be lubricated? First you need to know what elements of the window construction move, then you need to apply grease on them. It is necessary to remember that before lubrication you need to wipe all dust and dirt from it with napkins. 

 Grease will prolong the life of your PVC windows and you will be able to avoid the costs associated with replacing damaged details.
