A PVC window is a carefully engineered system where every component contributes to warmth, quiet, and convenience. The core of the structure is the PVC profile with internal chambers: the air pockets reduce heat loss and dampen street noise, while the built‑in steel reinforcement gives the frame rigidity and protects it from deformation.
The heart of the window is the insulating glass unit — a sealed assembly of two or three panes with gaps filled with dry air or an inert gas. Often, one of the panes is low‑emissivity, featuring a thin metallic coating that keeps heat inside the room. A spacer bar with a desiccant prevents condensation from forming between the panes.
Seals made of elastic material ensure a tight fit between the sash and the frame: they close the gaps, blocking cold air, dust, and drafts. The hardware — a system of metal components — is responsible for smooth operation, enabling the sash to be opened, tilted, and locked, as well as allowing adjustment of the pressure force.
Additional elements complete the design: the glazing bead holds the glass unit in place, the mullion divides the opening into sections, and drainage holes remove condensate.
