Varieties of glazing for PVC windows

PVC windows are in high demand in the market as they have many useful features. To perform these functions, every detail that is included in the design of PVC windows is important. Glazing is one of the most important components of the whole design, it is responsible for light transmittance, sound insulation, appearance. There are a large number of glazing varieties, let us consider some of them. 
Glazing is divided by the number of chambers, thickness, marking, features, price, etc. Single-chamber glazing mean one air layer, the thickness of the single-chamber glazing unit is 24mm, this version of glazing is the most economical. Double-glazed windows have a thickness of 32 mm, 3 glasses and 2 frames. This version of glazing is popular in countries with cooler climates. For example, energy-saving windows are coated with a special coating, there are also selective, K-glass, multifunctional, noise isolating, shockproof, tinted, self-cleaning glazing and others.
In order to understand window marking you should know that the glazing marked 4-16-4 has two glasses, each of them 4 mm thick and 16 means that the distance between them is 16 mm.
Of course, the price plays an important role in choosing glazing. Its cost depends on such factors as: brand, size, thickness of glass, specific properties and number of chambers. In climatic conditions of Egypt the best choice will be a single-chamber glazing which in most cases will be enough to perform the basic functions of PVC windows.
