Jalousie is a popular accessory for PVC windows, which is very well-combined with them. The design of jalousie is a combination of strips which can be made of different materials and opened or closed with a cord. There are roller blinds, vertical and horizontal. More common type of jalousie is horizontal, in this case the lamellae are arranged parallel to each other. This is the most inexpensive type, vertical will cost a bit more. Vertical jalousie has different width and position of the slats comparing with horizontal, their life is longer and they are resistant to high temperatures and strong gusts of wind. One more advantage that is necessary to mention is their design, they can be decorated in various ways. The roller blinds are the most suitable for bedrooms. 

It should be noted that the material of the jalousie is very important. The cheapest option is plastic, it does not need special care, its construction is simple and the price is low, but intense sun can significantly degrade the quality of these blinds and their appearance. Aluminum is a more preferred option, as it has much higher strength, but its price is also higher. Roller and vertical jalousie can be produced of faabrics, this material has high aesthetic qualities. The slats can also be made from wood, a natural material, safe to health, durable and cozy.
