It may seem easier to order an anti-burglar window, but do not underestimate the psychological effect that bars have on a potential burglar. Window bars can be divided by type of opening.
The first type is sliding. Open by pushing the doors in different directions. These bars can protect openings on balconies, large floor-to-ceiling windows, and doors.
The second type is turn grilles. They meet fire safety requirements, as they do not block the emergency exit and do not prevent residents from evacuating. They can be opened both inwards and outwards. They are well suited for installation on the first floors of buildings.
Removable grilles are installed only where it is not possible to weld them.
Fixed grilles are the most common type. This is a universal option suitable for any premises. It is extremely difficult to crack it.
In addition to the division by type of opening the grilles are also installed in various ways:
- installation in a quarter of the opening is a reliable option, which among other things does not spoil the appearance of the facade, since the grille does not protrude above the wall. One of the disadvantages is that it is located too close to the glass, so it will be difficult to wash it, and installing mosquito nets will also be a difficult task.
- installation from the outside at a distance from the facade. It is more suitable not for apartments, but for private households, because not everyone will like the appearance of the grilles above facade.
