PVC profile becomes popular as in many respects it has better performance than aluminum or wood.
The profile used for manufacturing of PVC windows and doors is resistant to temperature and other climatic conditions, it is more durable than any other materials, is not subject to deform, does not rot or corrode for decades, even in difficult climatic conditions. Very important option is the ability to retain the original attractive appearance throughout the whole period of operation.
To uPVC windows comply with the declared quality standards, high quality material must be used for the production of PVC profile and production technology has to be strictly observed. The production of PVC profile is a complex process. For the manufacture of granules, which will be used for profile a large number of different components is used. Quality powder for the manufacture of profile includes polymers, plasticizers, thermal and light stabilizers, fillers, brighteners and other substances.
There are two methods of homogenization of the granulate:
- method of dry mixes. Additives are mixed with the polymer to obtain the coarse grains of the same size.
- melt. The name of the method suggests that the pre-mixed elements will be connected by melting and then turned into granules.
The forming of the profile takes place in a special unit where it is calibrated and cooled to obtain the gloss.
