Cornice is an important element of window decoration.

The most common option is the string cornice. The essence of this design is based on the fact that the curtain cloth is moving on the tense strings. To improve the aesthetics of this system it is better to get a decorative strap.

Rod (tubular) cornice are very interesting solution with a lot of decorative options: a wide range of shapes, sizes and selection of fastening elements allow to realize almost any idea. Strung rings with attached gear with clips or hooks can be replaced by loops of material, ribbons or eyelets.

Rail (framing) cornice is a profile system with grooves, usually mounted on the ceiling, although can also be mounted on the wall. In the past dominated rail cornices hidden behind the baguette. 

The choice of the appropriate fastening system of curtains, net curtains, tulle and blinds must be adapted to window shape, type of fabric and decorative effect we would like to reach. If in addition to the curtains you plan to hang on the window the lace curtains, you should choose a model with two rows and if you want to use also lambrequin you will need a three-row design.
