How to decorate windows of non-standard shape.

Today we will consider options for the design of oval or round-shaped window openings, as well as arched windows. Such windows look very advantageous by themselves, give the interior sophistication and elegance. They look very good without curtains, but curtains are designed to provide protection from the sun and prying eyes. It is better to choose the curtains that can perform these functions and at the same time emphasize the beauty of the window. There are various options for how this can be done:

1) Do not decorate the uppermost, arched part of the window with curtains, leave it open, and hang ordinary curtains below

2) Purchase a special curved cornice, repeating the shape of the window opening. Crisscrossing curtains with pickups will look great on such a cornice.

3) Asymmetric curtains and lambrequins can be an interesting solution

4) For triangular windows, you can use inclined cornices that will converge at one point at the top.

Do not be afraid to experiment with non-standard windows, in proper design they will make the interior of your home truly exquisite.
