Vandal-proof film is a convenient and economical solution.

In the previous article, we wrote about the most reliable way to ensure the safety of a double-glazed window. However, this method cannot be called cheap. If you want to save money, then you can consider the option of purchasing a special vandal-proof film, which is simply glued to the glass in a ready-made structure. Thanks to it, the fragments will not fly apart as in the case of triplex glass.

At the same time, the main advantages of this method of protecting a double-glazed window will be:

- cost-effectiveness

- the possibility of pasting on the current window

- even if the glass is broken, the film will not allow it to fall apart into pieces, so your home will remain protected from the weather for several days, which may be required to replace the glass with a new one

This solution, of course, has disadvantages:

- if you stick the film on the outside, it is susceptible to damage to its surface

- relatively short service life. after a few years, the film will begin to peel off.
