Pros and cons of sliding PVC windows.

Currently, plastic uPVC windows is a complex system with various useful features such insulation and energy efficiency, as well as many minor but very useful properties. Window manufacturers, designers and architects strive to ensure that they create construction not only functional, but also easy to operate. 

Sliding plastic windows are among such solutions that have certain advantages compared to usual ones. Their main advantage - compactness as they do not require space for opening the sashes, even if you open them to the maximum possible width. Also they look nice and stylish in a modern interior. This is the main reason of their popularity. 

In such systems made of plastic profile is used special accessories which makes them more expensive. However, in practice it turns out that comfort of this solution worth the money paid. 

Most commonly in sliding windows is used a lifting-sliding and tilt-sliding opening principle. Lift & slide mechanism makes lifting the sash by using a special fittingsitem - lifter.This element is responsible for the smooth and easy movement of the sash along the rail. Inclined sliding opening use the same principle as in many buses: movable part deviates slightly forward, and then moved at the back of fixed one.
