Prepare the windows for the summer.

Spring is the best time to care for your windows. After the winter rains and sand storms finished, they should be put in order by following just a few simple manipulations. It is very well if you are prepared to wash windows and stocked up with a set of means for care of plastic windows. However, you can use very simple home means. 

To start with windows should be washed from dirt and dust with clean water. In winter, the glass accumulates a lot of dust and if you start rubbing the glass without the preliminary washing, then they form micro-scratches as particles of dust will act as abrasive. Prepare soap solution on the basis of warm water and use a soft cloth to remove easily all dirt. This solution will cope easily also with plastic frames. Do not use gasoline, acetone or other solvents.

As for the seals, here it is better to use special means as they are most prone to wear and tear. To make the seal last longer, wash it with a soapy solution and soft cloth. Then lubricate it with means containing silicon . If you do not pay attention to this operation, the dry summer heat will quickly spoil it and you will need to replace it. 

After you clean the fittings, it will need to be lubricated. If special means are not at hand, it is easy to use ordinary engine oil.
