Ways to decorate plastic profile.

Choosing uPVC windows for our home, all of us think how they will look in the interior and facade. We want to combine aesthetics and functionality in one design and are most important point is to get to know the possibilities of window profiles, as it is the main element of a plastic window. 

Window companies each year offer more solutions for the profile. However, the correct choice of profile is not only choosing a certain color and texture solutions, it is also important to know the technology of its production, since durability and reliability of operating PVC windows will largely depend on it. The variety of colors of window profile can be achieved in different ways. 

The coloration in the mass is used to give the desired shade to white or brown profile of white. Dye is added directly to the PVC composition, which will subsequently be made profile of. As a result will be received desired shade and texture, however this method of dyeing plastic windows quickly lose their initial eye-catching color. Therefore, experts say that such frame must be covered with acrylic film. 

A coextrusion-type method is the application of an extremely thin layer of acrylic paint on the surface of the plastic profile. This method of staining assumes the availability of expensive equipment and high skills professionals and it surely influences the price. However, the profile obtained by this method is not prone to deformation, and easy to care for. 

Varnishing is a process of high complexity, as it implies the use of manual labor. The acrylic lacquer is applied  on the profile surface by hand, then design is processed with high temperatures. This technology is not used in mass production, it is more suitable to create a custom, exclusive frames. 

Lamination – the most popular way to give different colors to window plastic. A special film is applied on the surface of the profile. Film is applied on the heated plastic which is then processed with a specially equipment. This technology requires enhanced quality control. Laminated profile cost more expensive than standard white, but gives a number of advantages to the owners of such structures.
