First appeared in the construction industry in the middle of the last century plastic windows made a revolution in our ideas about the appearance of modern buildings. Nowadays they have become an integral feature of any residential or industrial building.
If we look back at the history of PVC, we will probably be surprised by the fact that it appeared almost two centuries ago, in the distant 1835 year. American chemist discovered it, however the invention was forgotten, as existing at the time the level of technology made production of artificial materials very expensive. Only a century later, German entrepreneurs started to think about the industrial production of polymers, and after the Second World War they were followed by the other countries which started the production of plastic pipes, floor coverings, packaging materials and other goods.
20 years later, plastic finally found its application in the manufacture of windows and won the most convincing victory over other materials in this area. At first plastic was determined to become not less durable than wood but the possibilities of plastic were much bigger than that.
PVC Windows produced nowadays can be in opperation up to 70 years, and during this period the plastic will not crack and will not lose color. In addition, it does not need any complicated special care. Tightness of plastic designs provide reliable protection from dust and excellent soundproofing.
In 70-ies of the the last century started the ongoing triumphal procession of plastic windows through the countries and continents. Now PVC as a material for the production of translucent structures has no competitors. Appeared in Egypt recently, it is rapidly gaining increasing popularity.
