The quality of the glass is just as important for the window structure to perform its tasks as the number of chambers in glazing. Today in the production of plastic windows, there are the following types of glass:
Float glass. The special technology used in its production makes it possible to produce especially transparent glass with a perfectly aligned surface.
Triplex or laminated glass. This is a fairly thick glass that consists of several layers, each of them is laminated
with a special film. This technology allows you to get a particularly strong and burglar-resistant glass. Also, this glass will provide the room with additional sound insulation.
Selective glass is covered with substances with special properties that allow you to save heat in the house in winter and provide coolness in summer by passing or delaying various types of radiation.
Colored float glass allows partial retention of solar energy. Color pigment reduces the transparency of the glass, but provides protection from hot weather and creates a special atmosphere in the room.
Tempered glass is similar to triplex but due to a different technology it forms a large number of small non-dangerous fragments when broken.
