Pros and cons of the panoramic windows

The height of the panoramic windows is usually less than their width. From such windows a magnificent view of the surrounding landscape will be guaranteed. So, if your house is in a beautiful location with the view which certainly pleases the eye, it's worth thinking about the installation of these structures, as in addition they will provide your home with natural light.

Moreover, the exterior of the house acquires elegance and exclusivity. Many people are afraid of the fragility of such a huge glass area, but in the production of panoramic windows used a very durable glass, coated with a special film which will not allow it to break into separate pieces, even in case of damage. Large windows also ensure a high level of sound insulation.

Of course, panoramic windows have their cons, and the main of them is that the space inside becomes more visible from outside and it can be especially uncomfortable on the ground floor. However, such windows can be tinted and the view to inside the room will be closed. The most significant drawback of such designs is their high cost which is associated not only with the complexity of manufacturing but also with complex installation.

Installation of panoramic windows in hot climatic conditions is recommended only on the shady side because otherwise the room will be too hot and the furniture in the room will fade.

If you install the whole glass structure, the care and ventilation will be quite complicated.
