Care for plastic windows fittings

Perhaps the most vulnerable and susceptible to external influences and loads part of the window is accessories. Accordingly, it needs preventive care first of all. All moving parts of fittings should be lubricated with oil which does not contain resins and acids (otherwise there is a risk to destroy the corrosion protection of metal parts). There are many special lubricants for the processing of window fittings containing mineral oil. Typically, such lubricants are manufactured in the form of spray mist: they are very convenient to use for the care of all elements of window fittings. Avoid small objects between the frame and sash, as well as in the mobile node. Following these simple instructions will greatly increase the life of your fittings and with it the entire window.
If you just purchased a new window we recommend removing the protective film from the surface of the plastic profile no later than 10 days after the installation of windows. Later it will be difficult to do.
