Arched windows - personality and style

Recently, with the development of technology, it appeares increasingly home owners using unusual shapes and unconventional design, bright colors or decorated in monochrome colours. Arched windows produced by "ECO house"can become one of the best ways to emphasize your originality.

Unfortunately, the installation of arched windows is not always possible. In typical buildings it is often impossible to alter the shape of the window opening but the owners of private houses and villas can provide any options at the stage of architectural design.

Arched windows look great in the design of the second floor of the villas. This they acquire a truly unique look, especially if you do not forget about the existing possibilities of windows decoration such as stained glass or Georgian bars.

Please note that the arched window is not the one shape established  once forever. These Windows can be of several types:

1. Semicircular is the most popular type, the arch in this case has the shape of a semicircle
2. The Moorish is horseshoe arch shape
3. Lancet - arch resembles a rounded triangle, its very specific and therefore these windows are mainly used in construction of temples and cathedrals.
4. Segmental variant has a universal form with a low arch and therefore fit the style of any construction.

Arched window can be fixed or with opening sashes but in the arch itself should not be moving parts. Arch elements can also be used in the design of the doors and then palace look will be guaranteed to your interior.

The production of arched windows requires more time than the usual plastic windows. The technology of their production is also more complex. PVC profile for forming arches must be bent, this part can not be reinforced by metal, so we don't make it too large, since in this case it can not withstand the loads.
