Convincing win of PVC windows

There are very significant events for each era. We can name a lot of examples such as first car, electric lamp, first radio or computer. All of above mentioned are outstanding achivements which had a great influence at technical progress.

We can not say that invention of plastic windows made the  same revolution in architecture as periodic table in chemistry but they actually had changed the idea of modern buildings' look. Whether building is located in the industrial or residential area, the plastic windows are the sign of the modernity.

The strangest fact in the history of PVC is that it appeared very long time ago. Its invention dated by 1835 and was done by American chemist. That time all artificial materials were expencive so the business showed no interest in new invention. Only hundred years after, in the thirties of twentieth century with the development of technology German businessmen drew attention to polymers and started their manufacturing. Right after the Second World War other countries followed them and there appeared PVC floor coverings, pipes, packaging materials and different household stuff.

Twenty more years had passed and polymers started to be used in windows production. It was the beginning of PVC triumphal rising. The initial aim was to make plastic windows not less durable that wooden once. But with the development of technologies PVC windows made much more than this.

Modern PVC windows are can be in operation up to 7o years, plastic does not crack, does not loose its color and does not need any special care. Thanks to their tightness they are a very reliable protection against dust. And latest technological achivements allowed them to get perfect sound insulating properties.

Seventies of twenties century are the years of PVC windows triumph in USA and Europe. It was the time when people started to think seriously about ecological problems and plastic became even more popular because there is no need to destroy trees to produce a window. All these advantages prove that today PVC as a material for windows production has no competitors.

In Egypt the fashion for plastic Windows came recently and quickly began its triumphal procession through the cities.
