Fact #6. The idea to invent triplex glass came to the chemist E. Benedictus quite by accident, when he dropped a flask on the floor, in which a solution of cellulose nitrate crystallized. Subsequently, it did not break, but simply burst. 
Fact #7. The first use of glass "triplex" found in the First World War, they made glass for gas masks. 
Fact #8. The impact strength of laminated glass "triplex" exceeds the usual glass of the same thickness by 12 times. 
Fact #9. PVC windows are the most durable-for 50-60 years they do not lose their qualities.
