Small windows will not be able to provide sufficient lighting, because of this the room will not look cozy. Too large windows is not always good, despite the fact that in recent years panoramic windows are in fashion. It is obvious that in the kids room, the window should be large enough to provide natural light for studies. In the bedroom it can be a little less because it is a  place of relaxation and a bright light is not always appropriate. As for such rooms like bathroom, the main function of a window is ventilation and decoration. According to this its size must be selected.
