Technology of arched windows production.

The technological process of making a PVC window in the form of an arch includes a larger number of operations than the production process of standard structures. This is the reason for its higher cost compared to a regular window. A step of bending of the profile have to be added to standard techlogical procedure. The PVC profile must be bent so as to provide the specified radius. The same radius should be provided for the glazing that will be inserted into the frame.

If you choose a colored arched window instead of a white one, then the operation of laminating or painting the profile will be added to the technological process.Please note that it is advisable to make part of the window a standard, rectangular shape. And the opening sashes should be located in a rectangular part. Only then they will be able to provide the necessary tightness. If you make the arch itself open, then it will be almost impossible to avoid drafts completely.

How does the bend profile in the production process happen? First, it is heated to the required temperature for a few minutes, after which it becomes plastic and can be bent in the required way.
