Proper care of window decorations.

How to take care of window decoration depends on their type and the material from which they are made.

Those who prefer curtains, typically have several sets that are used depending on the season. Once you have removed the "winter" curtains, they need care and not all the materials can stand machine washing. For example, curtains with fringe or made from different types of fabric can lose shape when washing.

It is not risky to wash plain curtains without any additional elements. It is necessary to observe the rules of washing a particular material. Rinse it adding an antistatic agent. If the curtains can not be washed, take them to the dry cleaning, where they will be refreshed with the help of chemicals.

Roller blinds and jalousie need not be removed to take care of them. Often jalousie have to be protected from contact with water. However, this rule does not apply to all materials.

Roller Blinds are often made of rubberized fabric. It must be protected from getting wet, so clean them by the dry method. The dust is removed with a vacuum cleaner or a soft cloth and more persistent stains may be removed with the eraser. 

Vertical blinds can be washed. Their fins are removed, rolled into a coil and immersed in warm water with detergent. Leave them until all the dirt is dissolved, and then rinse in clean water and dry.Horizontal blinds are cleaned with a special brush that will get rid of dust in areas with difficult access. 

These are the basic rules of care for the different types of window decorations. By following them, you will prolong the life of products and provide them a fine appearance.
