Smart glass-technology of the future.

Japanese scientists continue to surprise us with new high-tech developments in the glass industry. Developers of all leading countries are working over glass with variable transparency. However, only the Japanese have managed to change the transparency of not the entire area of the glass but only of the certain areas. For example, if the sun rises or sets, it is possible to darken only the bottom of the glass, and the top can be left clear. There are quite a lot of glass with the ability to change its transparence in the market. Scientists from all countries use a variety of materials and technologies for the manufacture of such glasses. They can vary speed and type of darkening. However, only the Japanese developers at this moment presented a glass that changes the transparency gradiently. This means that you can adjust not only the degree of darkening but also its desired area. 
Japanese developers recommend the use it not only in construction but also in the automotive industry, ensuring that the car interior will be protected from bright light, at the same time the visibility will stay clear. Automatically changing transparency glass has already been used in some air planes. However, conventional smart glass is darkened over the entire area of the surface, making it difficult to admire the view. A new glass created by the Japanese change transparency with electricity, starting from one side and gradually expanding. When you turn off the electricity extension will be stopped but the darkening will not disappear. That is, the process is similar to opening and closing of curtains.
